In order to go to Scott & Johanna's wedding, I made a quick trip to Mimi & Grandpa's house to drop the girls off. I know we had a great time the two days I was there with them, so there is no doubt in my mind that the girls enjoyed their time there even more when Mommy left!
Emma getting ready to go down the biggest water slide she's ever been on!
Success! It was such fun she must have gone up those stairs and down that slide 150 times (and that night stiiill not tired enough to go right to sleep?!)
Everyone knows that to make the best s'mores, you gotta have the best sticks. So Emma and grandpa found some old bamboo and striped it and made points to make the perfect sticks
Jules wanted nothing to do with making the sticks, but preparing the fire was right up her alley
Sweet Cali
Gi-Gi got one of Jule's famous kisses!
Jules catching a light bug and waiting for it to light up again
Watching for light bugs and fairies with Grandpa
Back from the wedding and ready to celebrate the 4th of July. Being greeted with cupcakes isn't so bad either...
Have you ever seen so many bubbles?!
We went to a habachi style restaurant and Jules was a bit scared of fire, but Emma was all about the chef's tricks... including the rice heart he made her
Who does this baby look like?
